Blogging

I’m so excited. At this very second, I am the world’s newest blogger. But even more thrilling to me is the reason I’m blogging. I have written my first book.

I’ve read that the definition of a blogger is:  "Someone who has nothing to say writing to someone who has nothing to do!" I hope that you won’t feel that reading my blog is equivalent to doing nothing. I’ll be blogging about themes and topics from We Wait You, the craft of writing and the art of publishing, and my observations of people and events that God orchestrates to intersect my life.

I will try to write twice a week – at the very least every Monday. Depending on where you are in the world, if you check my blog on Tuesdays, something new should be posted. And please contact me so we can have a real conversation and not just a monologue. I’ll write more tomorrow . . .

To find out more about We Wait You, click on "Read More" under "My Book" to the right. In a few weeks, you’ll be able to order my book, which is print-on-demand, right here on this blog.

    Hi Taryn,

We can’t wait to read the book, especially since Vicki lived some of it with you.  Come stay with us if a book signing ever brings you to this part of Texas!

    To dear Taryn:

I’m so excited for you as you await your babe and your other baby, your first grandchild.  What a time to rejoice at your upcoming book. and your first blog, too.  Great job.  I still get chills every time I see the cover of your book; such a great title and beautiful cover.  May the Lord extend your gift so that many may be blessed by your writings.   Hugs and prayers, Mary
